About the City Clerk's Office


The City Clerk’s Office performs administrative duties for the City of Eudora. The City Clerk’s Office maintains control of all municipal, personnel, and legal records. The City Clerk's Office coordinates requests for records in accordance with the Kansas Open Records Act and provides a city Request for Public Information Document. The City Clerk’s Office has a substantial amount of public contact regarding the furnishing of information concerning city ordinances and policies. The City Clerk’s Office is also in charge of providing election materials to residents and informing the public about any upcoming elections that impact the City of Eudora.

 

Work assignments are prescribed in state statutes and city ordinances and received from the City Manager, the City Commission, and citizen requests. The City Clerk’s Office handles important, confidential documents that relate to city policy and collaborates with the City Manager in order to carry out the goals set by the City Commission.
