The collection of larger bulk items, such as household furniture, appliances, bicycles, etc., will be made on each resident's first day of garbage collection every month at no charge. Appliances containing refrigerant must be responsibly evacuated before disposal. Outside of this date, residents should contact Honey Creek Disposal Service to pay a $40 fee and schedule a special pickup. Some special pickups are subject to higher fees due to the item sizes or number of items. Those who leave bulk items out more than 24 hours before a scheduled pickup will be subject to an additional $50 fee.
