Current City Boards & Commissions
The Eudora City Boards and Commissions are comprised of three entities, each having different responsibilities:
City Commission and City Manager form of government
The City of Eudora operates under a Commission-Manager form of government whereby the elected City Commission sets policy objectives, and the City Manager ensures they are carried out and administered effectively. The relationship between the Commission and City Manager functions in the same way as does a Council-Manager government. The City Manager serves at the pleasure of the City Commission and is the City Commission’s chief advisor.
The Eudora City Commission is comprised of five commission members elected at large and a mayor who is elected by other commissioners each year.
The City Commission meets the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month. The meetings are held in Eudora City Hall at 7:00 pm.
