Annual Coats for Kids Drive

efdpatch

With summer starting to wind down, it’s time to start thinking about winter weather gear. From now through the end of October, The Eudora Fire Department is accepting donations for their Coats for Kids Campaign.

New or gently used coats and jackets, as well as backpacks, may be taken to boxes located at the north and southwest entrances to the Eudora Public Safety building at 930 Main St. The Fire Department will present them to the Bird's Nest for distribution to local students. Scotch Cleaners in Lawrence will provide cleaning services for these donated coats before they are delivered.

Please consider helping the Eudora Fire Department reach their goal of exceeding last year's total of 88 coats collected, and donate to the Coats For Kids program.
